The Business of Brands conference takes place next week at the Convene center on West 46th Street in New York, NY. According to INTA’s website, this event is the place to “get the inside scoop—straight from the C-suite—on ‘the business of brands.’” Things kick off on Thursday morning at 8 AM with opening remarks from co-chairs Deborah Davis of Electronic Arts Inc. and Judy McCool of HBO, INTA’s President David Lossignol of Novartis Pharma AG, and CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo.
“I love attending the smaller INTA events,” says Jackie. “It’s a much more intimate meeting where you can get to know your clients and fellow colleagues,” she adds.
There’s no shortage of high profile speakers at this spring meeting. Stuart Weitzman, Founder of the award-winning shoe brand that bears his moniker - STUART WEITZMAN, is the featured keynote speaker, presenting on the power of brands Friday. Capsule Keynote speakers include Nancy Jeffrey, Editorial Director, Edelman New York; Autumn Adeigbo, Founder and CEO, Autumn Adeigbo; Derek K. Rapp, President and CEO, JDRF; and Bess Freedman, CEO, Brown Harris Stevens. Discussion items for this year’s event include corporate social responsibility, effective communication, and consumer awareness of counterfeits among others.
